Delicious Fried Squash
Fried Squash is an incredibly easy to make appetizer. We like to make this for our football game nights and when we have company over for fun events. The fried squash could also be substituted for zucchini as well. Serving this with ranch or honey mustard is a great idea.

- 2 squash medium squash
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups Italian panko bread crumbs
- 2 cups all=purpose flour
- 1 qt vegetable oil
- 2 tsp season salt
Rinse and wash squash thoroughly
Slice squash to 1/4inch pieces
Heat oil to 350F
Dip the slices of squash into the bowl of milk a few pieces at a time.
Using a few pieces at a time, add slices to a bowl or plastic bag filled with flour and seasoned salt, coat.
Put the slices back into the bowl of milk, then coat with Italian bread crumbs, set aside.
Fry until golden brown, typically 2-3 minutes on each side at 350F in a deep fryer.
